Mini Golf with a Historical Theme

Our mini golf course is designed with a focus on the history of the Vejers Strand area. As you play, you'll encounter an "esehytte," a traditional hut used by fishermen in the old days when fishing along the coast. On the playground, you can meet a fisherman and climb another esehytte nearby. You'll also find a sea mark and a channel representing the eel migration in Vejers. The house seen in some of the images below is a replica of the Lifeboat Station located just outside the Vejers Strand town sign.

Playing mini golf on this course allows you to navigate through 12 unique holes, each with different designs, obstacles, and difficulty levels.

How We Built the Most Beautiful Mini Golf Course on the West Coast

In 2019, our new mini golf course was completed with the idea of creating a lovely oasis where families and friends can gather for a game of mini golf. We primarily used artificial turf, which allows players to experience a modern and enjoyable game that feels like real grass, similar to traditional golf. However, don’t be mistaken; this is mini golf, not full-scale golf, and the game is optimized for a fun experience. The course is surrounded by whimsical figures, small houses, and historical buildings from the area, with gravel paths dividing the holes. A charming little stream runs through the course, which you can cross via a delightful wooden bridge. We aimed to design the most beautiful mini golf course on the West Coast.

Benches are placed around the course for you to take a break.

Typical Mini Golf Rules

  • The goal is to score the fewest points, with each stroke counting as one point.
  • You may only hit the golf ball with the club provided to you.
  • Your first stroke must be played from the start of the course.

The mini golf course in Vejers Strand is located next to Die "Hyggelige" Dänen's office, directly across from the supermarket and gas station. Centrally situated on Vejers Havvej, you can enjoy a round of mini golf with your family. Golf clubs, balls, and scorecards must be collected at Die "Hyggelige" Dänen's office at Vejers Havvej 12.

Restroom facilities are available at the lifeboat station.

Vejers Viking Mini Golf is closed and will reopen for Easter 2024.

Tickets can be purchased at Die "Hyggelige" Dänen’s office at Vejers Havvej 12, which is open until 16:00 Monday to Friday. On weekends, tickets can be bought directly at Vejers Viking Mini Golf.

  • Monday-Friday: 9:00-19:00
  • Saturday: 14:00-19:00
  • Sunday: 10:00-19:00
