How to Get Your Free Green Fee

To enjoy a free green fee during your stay, simply book a holiday home through our website.

When you’re ready to play golf at Outrup, bring the green fee ticket we’ve sent or provided to you. Upon arrival at Outrup Golf Course, present the ticket at the shop. If you arrive outside of opening hours, drop the ticket in the mailbox at the golf course's information center. Then, you're all set to hit the greens!

What's Included?

All guests of Die "Hyggelige" Dänen receive a free green fee at Outrup Golf Course. You can either bring your own golf equipment or rent it from the golf course’s information center. All players must have their own or rented equipment with them on the course. Note that tokens for the Outrup Golf Club's Driving Range are not included in the offer but can be purchased upon arrival at the golf course.

This offer is available year-round from sunrise to sunset. For the best experience and to purchase tokens or rent equipment, visit during the staffed hours at Outrup Golf Course: weekdays from 09:00 to 15:00, and on weekends and peak season from 09:00 to 16:00. Outside these hours, arrangements can be made during the off-season.

Please note that golf is not available on the day of arrival or departure.

Golf for All Levels at Outrup Golf Course

Nestled between Varde and Nymindegab, Outrup is home to the popular Axelgaard-owned golf course. Just about 27 km from Vejers Strand, it's easy to reach the golf course from the summer house area.

Outrup Golf Club is a charming West Jutland golf club that emphasizes social interaction and excellent golf experiences in a natural setting. Since 2006, golfers have enjoyed the beautiful 9-hole parkland course. The unique West Jutland landscape, featuring dunes, lakes, and large forests, has clearly inspired the design and decoration of the course.

The course features two tee boxes: yellow and red, with lengths of 2191 and 1864 meters, respectively. When playing on the 9-hole course at Outrup, you'll encounter five par-3 holes, three par-4 holes, and one par-5 hole, catering to all skill levels.

Additionally, you can opt for their Par 3 course, which offers a fun and simpler golfing experience. This course is particularly well-suited for those with less golf experience, making it ideal for families on a summer house vacation looking to try out this delightful outdoor activity and explore if golf might be their new passion.

Pay & Play at Outrup Golf Club

As a guest staying in a holiday home rented through Die "Hyggelige" Dänen, you naturally receive free green fees. If you find yourself falling for golf in West Jutland, you’ll be pleased to know that Outrup Golf Club offers a convenient Pay & Play option. This means you don't need to be a member of Outrup Golf Club or hold a DGU (Danish Golf Union) card to enjoy a round of golf in this charming region. Just pack your car with fellow golf enthusiasts, and head out for hours of enjoyment, exercise, and the relaxed atmosphere of Outrup Golf Club.

Driving Range at Outrup Golf Course

Whether you want to perfect your swing or shake off the rust, Outrup Golf Course’s professional Driving Range is available for all your practice needs. With 16 tee stations, including 10 covered bays, you can stay sheltered from the often unpredictable Danish weather. While your green fees are covered when staying at a holiday home booked through Die "Hyggelige" Dänen, access to the Driving Range is not included. However, you can purchase tokens for the ball dispenser at the golf club’s information desk. Each token provides 30 balls, giving you ample opportunity for practice.
